Perimenopause Companion is a private journal and appointment-preparation tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a condition. It does not replace a qualified healthcare professional. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about medical concerns.
Information you record
You may choose to record symptoms, cycle and period status, sleep, mood, energy, context, clinician-directed treatment events, personal routines, notes, tracking preferences, and appointment questions. This can include sensitive health and sexual-health information. No account is required.
Local storage and collection
Journal content and app settings are stored locally on your device. Baku Apps does not receive or collect that content. The app has no developer-operated account, cloud synchronization, analytics, advertising, or tracking service. Device or operating-system backups may include local app data depending on settings controlled outside the app.
App lock
If you turn on app lock, the operating system performs authentication. The app receives only the success, cancellation, or unavailable result and never receives or stores biometric data.
Exports and sharing
The app creates an export or appointment brief only after you review its scope and take an explicit create or share action. Files are created locally in temporary app-owned storage and the app attempts to remove its working copy after the share sheet returns and during later cleanup. A destination you choose, an operating-system backup, or another app may retain its own copy under its own privacy practices.
Store and device providers
Apple, Google, your device provider, and any destination you choose for an export may process account, purchase, device, backup, or shared-file information under their own policies. Perimenopause Companion does not receive store-account or purchase information.
Retention and deletion
Local content remains until you edit or delete it, delete all app data through the app, or remove it through device controls. The app verifies its own deletion scope before reporting success. Copies outside the app must be managed at their destination.
Intended users
The app is designed for adults navigating the transition toward menopause and is not directed to children. Baku Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.
Changes and contact
